Cyndy Bull and I were not friends in High School.  I do not think our paths ever crossed. We met in 1976 as neighbors. We each had 3 children that were the same ages.  One spring we gals caravaned to Florida with all the kids. The oldest child was 9 or 10. We  used CBs to keep in touch and to chat with the truck drivers who could tell us the upcoming traffic.  Just as we crossed into KY  on our way south, we were in a horrible snow storm. All the motels were full and we were sent to a closed motel up on a hill - We thought it was the Bates Motel - it didn't even have a phone and of course cell phones were not available.  We were the only ones there and we were pretty tramatized, but in the morning, the parking lot was full. Our families in Michigan were very worried about us. We had several other adventures over the years and I have lots of fond memories.

Cyndy died too young.  Miss you Cyndy.

Cyndy and I became friends in Miss Elizabeth's kindergarten at Quarton school. We remet as young mothers at Christ Church Cranbrook and as volunteers in the JLB. I was shocked when I heard she had pancreatic cancer and when she died so quickly. Way too young!!
