Keith and his brother, Mark, lived directly across the street from me on Norfolk. We were close friends at Baldwin Elementary School and initally at Barnum Junior High School. While at Barnum, Keith's family moved "down the street" next door to Steve Weller's family. Norfolk was home to six members of our class. We lived on the "same side of the street" within a block of each other: Lynn Skaistis, Steve Weller, Rick O'Green, Julie Chamberlain, Keith and me. In our Seaholm years, I would describe this group as neighbor friends with other close friends. Keith and I remained in touch because of the close proximity of our families. As adults, we journeyed to different parts of the country. He died too young.

Keith was always one of my favorite guys...

Keith always had a smile on his face. When I think about him I can actually remember his happy laughter.

I was thinking about Keith today. Such a great guy. He became a master Gardener for U of M. He was an incredible athlete. Sigh ...Jim Pingel
