Worked in the disability field with both group living, deaf residential program and evaluations for disability determination. Play golf, swim and pull for the Red Wings, Tigers, Carolina Panthers/ Hornets and enjoy playing guitar provided nobody can hear.

I visited Paul a month before he passed.  He spent his time doing things for others including a 25 year volunteer effort for the emergency responder team in and around South Bend Indiana.  We were best friends from the day we met, after swimmming practice in 10th grade, he had just moved from suburban Chicago.  We had parrallel lives including within a month, his daughter Emily's birth and my son Corey's birth.  We stayed in touch throughout the years and had many good times after I moved to South Bend in 1976.  When I moved to NC, we spoke often and visited when I was in the area.  Loved Paul like a brother.
