I seem to remember Keith in band. Tuba if memory serves me. A fun guy, always smiling and jovial character. I wasn't real close with Keith but he was one of those who you just remember. Sad to hear he's gone. RIP Keith.
So sad to hear about Keith's passing - and, John, you're close - Keith played baritone/euphonium in the band, and sat right next to the tubas. He was always a happy and expansive guy, with a great sense of fun. But he seemed to be a perennial thorn in Mr. Kutscher's side, although I really never understood why (of course, because of instrumental seating, my back was always to him). I sure would have loved to have seen Keith again.
