Andrea and I lived in the same neighborhood, from Harlan Elementary through Seaholm. I remember that she was a natural leader, always a spark plug in any gathering. At reunions, I enjoyed speaking to her about her time in Saratoga Springs (NY), and her excitement each summer with the annual residency of the New York City Ballet. Many members of her community put up dancers and musicians of the ballet, and a number of times she hosted one of the ensemble's famous directors, Peter Martins.
